Google planned to be wireless carrier, it won’t allow the whole world to use it but will be allowed for US citizens who travel abroad.
According to The Telegraph they are in discussion with carriers like 3 network so that the designed network would able to allow US citizen to take voice calls, SMS without changing to local networks.
How would this impact to Google and the users that could only be known later, because we are still not sure that whether its their pet project or it would really allow the world to talk without paying a single Cent.
